Hi everyone,
Can anybody recommend a decent bike cover? I used to have an Adventurer size R&G cover but with the standard mirrors on the bike, this would only come halfway down the front wheel. I've even considered changing the mirrors to the bar end variety so the cover will fit, but this is the best bike ever had for being able to see behind so I don't really want to change them (unless somebody knows of some that are any good?) Cheers Kev.

Dont tell anyone Kev but i use an old tent fly sheet.....covers everything.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Good timing!

Just yesterday, covering my 14 after evening ride, I notice my Oxford Aquatex start to worn out. And I got it May 2016 and used only during summer. I'm a bit disappointed, cause was hoping it will hold up at lease 2 summers (May - till October). But not... Now I also think about new one...

Thinking about OXFORD RAINEX, It cost twice as Oxford Aquatex, but will last for 4 years... Nit sure...
So, what will you suggest?

Tried the oxfords.... total shite, and expensive shite at that!  Currently have a JDC, been on the bike for 2 years and still pretty good.  Not exactly cheap but you get what you pay for...apart from that shite from Oxford grrrrrrr..

If it were me, I'd take the bike to an upholsterers' and have one custom made to fit my particular bike. (did this with my boat - that's why I only have 1 arm & 1 leg now)
Best solution and best fit. Get canvas and it'll breath and last 5-6 years easy.

Col, best idea. The breathing is very important as otherwise condensation can build up. Being blessed with a garage, I use a stretch-bed-sheet to protect from dust and scratches. Humidity is still an issue as the cloth dryer vents into the garage

My bike is kept inside a garage as well. I have a 'nylon' (dunno what it is) dust cover over it. Brought it online from the UK, has GSX1400 on the front. Nice light cover.
Our dryer is in the garage as well, bit of a nuisance as fluff & 'dryer dust' gets all over my tools & bench.  The main doors are often opened so the moisture gets out fairly readily. (I hope anyway)

my cover is haigh brand. had for over 5 yrs, used daily at work. mcw1500 is part number. still looks as new. throw in washing machine to clean. considering our sun/temps here its been really good. inside at home i just use 2 old sheets as covers. in shed i get possums and geckos and they crap on bike, hence the sheets.
