I've fitted CBF 125 indicators to my 14 as previous owner had crappy LED ones which I don't mind too much but these were pathetic especially the rear ones. Had to buy a number plate bracket that had holes for indicators as well. CBF ones look quite nice on the GSX imo but stick out a little too far. On the back it's not so bad as I plan to modify the bracket a bit so I can move the indicator bracket bits closer together so the number plate hides more of the indicator stalk.

Front ones look a little silly as they stick out a bit. I had a look at an old CBF indicator I have from my actual CBF 125 and the way the stalk is shaped, doesn't seem i can cut it down, would also need to drill a new hole for a screw that's on the underside of the stalk which I believe holds the rubber end onto the stalk. Haven't looked at the GSX indicator bracket on the front but is there anyway I could modify that so I can mount the indicators on the front further in towards the head light so that part of the stalks are hidden?

No, as the holes for the indicators stalks are part of the moulding of the headlamp bracket (underneath inside) with no scope for adjustment or alteration.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Yes and no (not really modding the original mount)

You'd need to make an extra bracket that mounts to the headlight one, so it went inwards and then down to mount the indicators. It's hard to explain, but a sort of Z shape, down - in - and down again. This extra bracket would pull the indicators in closer, but would mean them being 30 or 40mm lower though.

Shorter stemmed indicators would probably look better.
