Nice tourer

May I suggest a slight detour to Kleine Scheidegg by Grindelwald (close to Interlaken which you are coming through). Then take the train INSIDE the Eiger mountain to the Jungfraujoch. The train will stop within the mountain where there are two large windows. You are then looking down part of the famous Eiger Northwall. When I did it there were even climbers right by the window. The top train station is just below (inside) the Jungfraujoch. You go up a few stairs and are outside. Enjoy the incredible experience!!!

Honest advice: Do not go on this train ride if you are sick. It is a huge sudden ascent to about 3200 meters. You should be healthy when doing this. Altitude sickness is a possibility. But don't worry to much about this as you will be quickly going down again by train.

No idea what the train costs now. I paid 32 sfr in 1989. Worth every Rappen (swiss penny)!!!

Best of luck with your trip Stoli, (aka Campari) sounds like a fantastic experience.  Yep, pics on your return please.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Hi Andre
Thanks for the tip. I stayed at interlarken and jungfrau a few years back. Camping there. Was Stunning
We did white water rafting and canyoning too. It was a few days before that tragic accident when some lives were lost due to flash flood.

Beautiful part of the world though. Stunning scenery and the lakes are so amazing

I'm on a. I of a timeframe as I've 2.5 days to ride from Cambridge to Pisa. Will be fine. It I'm trying to go over also instead of thru Mont Blanc tunnel

Somehow I did have the feeling you knew already. Well , the feeling was right. No need to have the experience twice. Experience once and you never forget.

Yeah, I would definitely prefer going over than through the tunnel. It is always a shame to have a restricted time table. There is just so much to see on this long trip. So you just got to pick your priorities. Whom am I telling, it's common knowledge. I have lived in some beautiful and stunning parts of the world. Lots of stuff I did not manage to see, even though they were right under my nose.

Will be looking forward to the photos and trip report. Its good for us down under to see snapshots of different places in Europe.
Have a great trip.
Skid carefully  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
