  I live in matlock and this is the first ive heard of both the scrapping of parking charges and the sept ride
still a bit late as 2 bike shops in the bath are shut, adrian peach is selling up, been there for as long as i can remember and bikers gearbox shut earlier in the year. they left up a scathing open letter in their window citing matlock council for their closure due to a huge rise in rates and the question of what is happening re-parking charges.
