Hey guys had a bit of discussion this morning about travelling to this years mcr and it was agreed to meet at Rathdowny bakery to meet up with the guys coming from western suburbs. Thinking of around 8.30am if everyone is happy with that.
Cheers Bov

No worries dangles thats wot this post is all about.
So distance from Beaudesert to Dorrigo is 370kms and would take around 5 hrs straight (not including stops)
Daylight savings begins on Oct 1
So leaving rathdowney at 10am would be = to leaving at 11am
Allowing 1 1/2 hours for stops en route would have us arriving at around 5.30pm.
Could we agree on 9am at Rathdowney?
I realise its just down the road for me but not much I can do about that  :rofl2:

VladTepes

If that's what it has to be that's what it has to be.  I'll be there regardless.

It's easy to see women are involved in this ride going by the length of stops & the slow speed. Surely there are jobs they can do in the kitchen instead of ruining a boys weekend.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

 Where's my yawn emoticon

Don't remember my woman ruining a weekend Snapey ;)

The earlier the better for me - but will fit in with everyone of course!

For me it's about 6.5 hours to Dorrigo without stops but for Sweaty who will be with me at least another 1.75 on top of that.
Been there done that so know problem for me. But I like to start early because sometimes little things happen or on refuelling some spend too much time having coffee and maybe a smoke. I would rather be arriving about 3 p.m. and relax before a good feed and one ale lol.

Tony Nitrous

It's about 450K's from my house.

I'd expect to be there before mid-day.
(NSW or Qld time)

I'm not big on late starts or dicking about with smoke, coffee, lunch stops.
