I went to the self-service tearoom at Halton Gill in the Dales again today. You can't really see it in the pics but I shared the seating area with four house martin chicks, who got fed regularly while I was there.

The tearoom is in that barn btw, a table with a kettle etc on the left & a large selection of cake. Seating is on the other side of the road.

I love how just up the road from your Arncliffe is a self serve cafe, just up the road from my Arncliffe a wallet in your back pocket is generally considered unattended and self serve.
Although my Arncliffe is a lot closer to Bangor and Menai than yours. It's also just up from Brighton.

453K's (281 miles) this morning.

It was dry and sunny, 12 degrees C on the way out, and 24 C on the way home, I took winter gloves but never needed them and wore summer gloves all day. Not bad for the 2nd half of Winter.

Had a nice chat over coffee / breakfast with Garry McCoy (500cc MotoGP race winner).  Nice bloke, very friendly, helpful and down to earth.

We spent a weekend in Rottaralli (= Rat Rally)
There were over 1100 bikes (but only two of them with turbo, both Suzukis)
Lots of beer and rock'n'roll and nice people.

No, it's not any Wing, it's a Civic cabriolet.

I had troutble keeping up with the z1000 and an MT07 ...then I realised I was leaving the 14 in 6th (not 7 ) instead of changing down.... :bugga:

Test ride with two of the older bikes.
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Used mine for the commute to work today.

Motorways was very quiet at 4:30am as were the tunnels near the city.

It wasn't a boring journey.
