Good to hear your thoughts, I envy your bike collection but not the rego bill!
Always remember, safety third.

Queensland.

The Hayabusa and the B-King are both rego'd (taxed) as single seat.
Single seat cowls / no rear pegs, sign a form.
That's almost half the price of a dual seat bike.

Wife pays the 14's rego as it was originally bought to take her out,
even though she's only ever been in it 2 or 3 times, less than once a year!

No annual safety inspection (UK's MOT) here either which helps !
My Hayabusa had one 10 years ago, my B-Kings never had one.
Safety certs / MOT's are only to register an unregistered / untaxed vehicle
or to swap the ownership over without cancelling the tax / rego / plates.

No annual inspections.
Half price tax for single seat bikes
Haven't seen a frost in 13 years.

Queensland suits me fine.

How much is it for the rego?
Tax on big bikes is £85 now regardless of seating and an MOT is £29.40 for all bikes over three years old and under 40 (I think).
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Tax is more expensive here than the U.K. but it includes 3rd party insurance, so anyone with a licence can legally ride anything with road tax.
You take fully comp / fire and theft out as an extra cover.

I didn't mind the cost of an MOT, it was more the hassle of getting several bikes done, and getting some through with questionable mods... LOL

I have a deal with my local test station, 4 bikes mot'd for a ton.  Tax pisses me off, car is £30, bikes are £85.  I think tax should be on petrol, the more you use the more you pay.

You blokes have it good..... over $500 nzd for 12 months rego.
Full comp insurance another $460 !!
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

We have bike shops that test like in the UK,
but we also have mobile-roadworthy guys.

The guy I now use (if I'm putting a bike back on the road or selling one) turns up
at my house or work and I get a cert when I get back from making him a cup of coffee.
A bit more expensive but that's OK.

Great idea that, mobile WOF testers.

They aren't the cheapest, but it means I lose no time from work,
anything he isn't happy with (hasn't happened yet) I have the parts and tools at hand,
and he gets to see it pretty passionate about what I'm doing if its at my home.
