Well Col....mjgt sold a book on Ebay it was going to cost £21.99 to send it to New Zealand.
Lets say you get 3 books per kg. 3x230=690 books x £21.99 = £15173.10
To buy £15173.10 will cost $29320.00 nzd.
Bargain Col.....
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

KiwiCol

Seems just a tad dear Col, wonder if I could get bulk book discount maybe?

Wow, £21.99 to send to NZ, not sure eBay's global shipping program is the best deal.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

That's a ridiculous amount - no way should it cost that, check out couriers yourself and would be significantly less. Or even (sometimes) Royal Mail.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Stuff from the UK & Europe is general not too bad, but stuff from USA, usually crazy prices to send here, eg, I need a small window handle for our RV, cost is $2.00, shipping is over $25!!  & it's small & fits in the smallest of courier bags.

Thought I would do some 14 hunting today so phoned a number of dealers to see if a deal could be had with the Busa as part ex.
Shop 1, GSX1400 07 plate £4600, 17k miles, decent condition. PX allowance for 04 Busa, 6 Kmiles, mint £2700, £1900 to swap, erm no ta.
Shop 2, GSX1400 05 plate £4199, 29k miles, decent condition, PX allowance £2600, £1599 to swap, erm that will be a no again then.
Shop 3, GSX 1400 03 plate, £3600, 31k miles, average condition needs tyres, PX allowance £2600, Oh well!
Same shops later in the day I reversed the deal, shop 1, I am trading an 07 plate GSX1400, against £5 400 Busa, PX offer £3200 to £3400 need to see bike,  shop 2, similar deal,  £3200 immediate deposit required, shop 3 £3250, need to see bike with possible £100 to £200 more.
Looking like I will need to sell private or hold out for a swap as dealers are trying to steal, ironically all three said they are desperate for quality stock but cant get it...............Er, wonder why!

Well a deal is done, Sold Busa for full asking price within hours of advertising on ebay, buyer paid by transfer without seeing as he was 170 mile away, considering I was only being offered around the £2.7 mark by dealers and the fact I got £1.4 more than this selling privately feels great and tells me why dealers cant get quality stock in, in transpires the business is only being propped up with PCP deals and that is with low trade in deals.
Anyway, 14s seem to be quite strong value wise at the moment,  bikes between 3 and 4 grand are shifting quickly, the higher end priced bikes are slow as they simply are over priced, on the downside there are some pretty poor examples out there now, lots of bodged bikes and quite high milers, this is a lot to do with age now so getting low miler bikes in standard clean condition for reasonable money is a challenge but can with patience be found. Iam now waiting for delivery of an 06 bike with just 7k miles that came my way after some good bartering for £4.250, a tad high realistically but to me its as good as I have seen and as close to what I wanted as I was going to get..........................Cant wait!
Why shake, rattle and roll when you can ride in style, get yourself a GSX1400..........................Any colour as long as its?
