I'm doing the same mod for my 14 and looking for a bit of guidance if you can...I have mounted the Hel V1s but the pads are running on the edge of the disc if I reduce the size of the spacers the discs will run on the internal of the calipers... how did yours sit on the disc face

Are you using Hel caliper brackets/adapters as well? If yes, do you have the first version of the brackets or the second one? The second version ones are clearly identified/marked as dedicated to the GSX1400, if I remember correctly.

To be fair I think they are I picked them up from BST-Moto... and they ordered them in for me with the Hel-V1s.. I put a set of EBC vee discs on it.. I will have a look at them this weekend and see if it has anything stamped on them and stick on a picture or the pad contact line when mounted to show you what way it's running

My Gen-1 Busa needs its calipers sorting... again.

I'm very reluctant to spend a cent on 6 plops again so will be looking at 4's or radial calipers.  I have a pare of GSXR radial calipers somewhere, I think they may be Toxico's, I'll look at my caliper / adapter options.  I'd like to use Gen-2 Brembo's (quite common) or Gen-3 Brembo Stylema's (brilliant, but not common or cheap) but in reality any modern radial caliper is a serious upgrade!

Sorry for the delay @sponebob, I think you are right about the Adapters, the offset is not right and it's binding.. I pocket them up from BST-Moto so asked them to exchange or return and I'll get the right ones with 4.0offset
