Pressure regulator clip

This clip is just a poor design.
As some of you may recall i'd had the pump ass out to replace the pump a few months ago and i recall i did fit the clip correctly.....

I think it's the sort of plastic that get's weakened easily when taken off/put on again. Oh well, the wire does the trick!

I suspect the clip is a one shot deal, once it's been opened it does not close up properly to remain effective.  My pump was fine until I cleaned out the filter and replaced (correctly) it due to poor running and I had tried most other things and within a couple of months mine fell off as well, (3.5 hours wait for recovery) it's wired on now so wont fail again.
