Also vacuum related, could be the IAP sensor. A quick check if it is the IAP sensor: switch it with the AP sensor (they are the same part#).

Hi All,
Thanks for the comments, I've been in isolation the last few days as I'm still mad with her!!!

@ Kiwi- Do you know that had crossed my mind about bad fuel and I think it's the first thing I'll do, I filled up (probably had 1/4 tank left in) and had 35 miles of quick A roads before getting to Lincoln, it was only then when I had to stop at lights I noticed I was fighting to keep it from stalling!

When I got picked up in the van and back home, the mechanic started her and kept it going for a couple of minutes by revving high and whilst still rough it was slightly better.
He advised checking air filter and injectors/plugs  he's pretty sure it's fuel related.

The petrol I put in was the premium grade at Tesco, I've not used that before so first thought is to drain it and put the usual Shell v max in!

If that doesn't work I'm going for cleaning the injectors!

Cheers
Red

I've just had the problem of not being able to start/idle. See "will not start" under fueling.
Changed the teabag ( which was no where as dirty as some I've seen) and rinsed out the HP pump best I could. The Bike still sputtered a bit so so I dropped in some injector cleaner and now pulls to at least 7 with no breakdown. Good luck

Cheers BJ , yeah that sounds exactly what I'm getting, although I cleaned the low pressure filter over the winter and it was nowhere near the colour of yours, it's like new now.
