Valentino Rossi looks set to return to track action tomorrow, less than three weeks after breaking his leg in a training crash on his enduro bike and potentially even with the goal of riding at this weekend's MotoGP race at the Motorland Aragon circuit.

Only 18 days since the nine-time world champion underwent surgery to have a broken tibia in his right leg pinned after a low-speed fall while out riding with friends, the Italian will reportedly take to track at his home circuit of Misano tomorrow on one of the Yamaha R6 machines that he and the VR46 Academy riders use for training at the home of the San Marino Grand Prix. !!! :smile2:

Good news. Moto GP doesn't seem the same when he's not there.

I have to agree I think Vale is awesome for the sport. No doubt he is an alien, the man was basically born and placed on a motorcycle, knee down at 3 years of age, watch the Youtube video's. HE is probably the best known motorsport personality in the world at present. We will say in future years the "Rossi times or era" and people will nod and know exactly when this was. My personal opinion is there is a finite number of years he can ride competitively but until that time arrives we need to enjoy his majesty and mastery of what are incredibly difficult motorcycles to ride on the knifes edge like these guys do week in week out. Then for fun guess what, they go motorcycling for fun at his personal track and these devotees flock to him, other world champions from all other disciplines, who'd a thunk it LOL.

May the king rule
