I will have to take the front wheel out at some point as it needs a new tyre, but I can't find my 24mm allen socket anywhere    so cut up an old plug socket (got plenty) to do the job.  ;)

To be honest I didn't even know there was a proper Suzuki tool. The 4 way one is handy and fits a few other sizes and the other two were free or less than a $.

I might have to get the Suzuki one now !

Do you have the standard tool kit? From memory, I think the plug spanner fits. If its not that its one of the others.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

It does have the OEM tool kit but I wanted something a bit more substantial  ;)

Never thought of that. I'll have a look.

I normally avoid the factory tools supplies as they are pretty poor and you never know if you're going to break the tool or round off a nut or bolt first.

Pulled my underseat tool kit out, haven't looked at it in years but it looks like I'd soaked it in WD or CRC as it was oily not rusty.

None of mine fitted including the 2 plug spanners, both a bit small (probably not the original tools) ... however... I have a large collection of plug spanners from bikes over the years and a couple were a fit.   Not a great fit like a proper tool but certainly looked like they get you out of trouble if needed.

Interestingly the 14's kit did have a large spanner to fit the rear spindle nut and an extension for it.

now to complete the set you've got to buy the multi size one....
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

My local tool store has some nice chunky 1/2" drive allen sockets too.
