Quote from: grog on Friday, 05 May  2023, 06:23 PMSaw a yellow today, i dont know which version, had same exhaust as your new Tony, Id like my bike to sound that way.

I didn't like the yellow when it came out but they have grown on me. Very much an in-ya-face yellow and certainly stands out.

Pretty sure it'd be a later Gen-2, so very similar to mine but with ABS and Brembo's.

A bit like TL, not a yellow fan but thats colour id have one in.

Phill P

Oxford motorcycle lid lock, just a way to secure the lid when it's hanging off the handlebars, if they really want the lid it won't stop them but hey ho

Hooli

Today I've ordered a new rear Avon Cobra Chrome for the tractor. They've gone up £15 since last July when I got the last lot, so £189 today. But free postage on this one so that saved £7.50 compared to where I got it last time.

Can't complain as it'll have managed 10k miles by the time it's definitely illegal. The front still looks like new so can stay on.

Another 14 shirt. $23 Ali Express. IMG_0378.jpeg

Not a huge fan of iridium screens.

Amazon to the rescue.

Currently looking for a welded up BTL, some sticky tyres to replace the Angel-GT2's and a 2 bike trailer, although my funds are currently somewhat limited.

in my experience you only ever get 1 brownie point, revocable at anybtime, regardless of right or wrong or expense involved.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Dwain Dibley

just got me a 24 mm front axle allen socket and a 1/2" drive breaker bar.

You can't have enough tools.

D.D.
To Infirmity and Beyond.. :-)

2 more 3m x 125mm posts and 4 bags of rapid set.

2 more posts concreted in, cut to height and oiled.
Thats 9 posts, 3 x 3.  2 more posts and I'll start fencing the hens half.  It'll need a further 2 posts to fence the veggie side.  Both sides need doors / gates. Just slowly chipping away at it. I'm intentionally only doing a small amount each week as the previous fences hurt my body and wallet.  Winter starts here in 10 days time, so it's probably a better time for digging and fencing, and good timing to get it ready for the coming Spring / Summer.

A...

B...

C...

Even though I have the correct tool, I probably use "B" the long-nut the most. It's actually for joining lengths of threaded bar for bracing up timber house frames, I think Bunnings / DIY stores sell them, I have a heap in a bucket. Fits some of my spindles great and easy to put a socket, ring spanner or rattle gun on.

Thought those joiners were 1" so too big for our 24mm axle internal hex bolts

As you can see, the ones I have are a perfect fit. I guess they come in different sizes but we only used those.

EDIT: I'm not going back out to the shed tonight, but looking at the Bunnings website....

Awesome. I have option C and A, used C on both my bikes, works a treat.
