Just to keep everyone Happy, here is the bike I had in 2002.
I added a pair of Scorps, Renthals, a blue screen and some mini indicators.
When I sold it, I nearly ran after the guy to give him his money back.  LOL
I've wanted another one ever since.

That depends how slow you want to go 
Old people often like some black and/or red as their reactions aren't quick enough for a fast bike anymore.

The Tank has a bit of rust, I have bought some Evapo-Rust. I am hoping to leave the pump and sender in the tank, they should be OK, shouldn't they.

I'd take the pump out, it's swirl pot is the lowest point of the tank so you'd fill the teabag with that stuff. It's only five allen bolts & the whole unit comes out.

I suppose so Hooli, it was the teabag I was worrying about, they are expensive to replace. It just makes it awkward to flip/slosh the tank about with a big hole in the bottom. I will need to seal it with something.
It will make emptying the stuff out easier.

You can get teabags for about £7 from memory, off aliexpress or something.
I think @seth had a load he was selling off at one point?

Agreed it's a pain sealing it though. Maybe take the pump off the mount & refit the swirl pot empty? you'd only have the hose connection to seal then.

Dwain, If you decide to strip and clean out the pump (Worth doing while you are there) unit make sure you wire it up before replacing it in the tank.  The white plastic clip only seems to hold once, if disturbed it tends to let go leaving you stranded, don't ask me how I know.

Around the white plastic clip at the top. It retains the pressure relief valve but they are known to fall off after being disturbed.

So............I ordered a gallon of Evapo rust from my local Toolstation on Sat, for collection the next working day. that happened to be yesterday, which I spent waiting for a text to tell me it was there....No Text. Not a totally wasted day, cos I worked on the CX500.
This morning.............?  No text, so I got online and checked the tracking for said item... delivered Monday at 11.30.
In van, up there, where's my stuff ?? Why no text ?? tracking says you have it !!
After 10 mins he found it on the shelf right at the front...... DOH !!  Why no text ??  notifications are switched off.....I'll switch them back on. 
Not good is it.?? 
But Hey, now I can dismantle the tank and get stuck in to that pesky rust, cos I'm sick of watching vids of other people doing it.
