I've been keeping an eye on the GSX prices for a while and see a lot of dealers with them advertised at silly money, even a few with half a dozen 1400's that they appear to have had for many months. I do wonder how they make any money when their overpriced bikes are sat in the showroom for 6+ months  ???

On the likes of evilbay you can search on sold prices rather than asking price that gives a much more realistic view of whats happening
only a slightly modified gsx1400

Havent looked for a long time. Still would be cheap for what you get.

Those dealers are referred to as "Steelerships" here on the forum quite regularly.
Queensland has Team Moto whom are slowly stuffing up the motorcycle industry with their quite unethical business practices imho 🥸

I assume you have been looking at the bike shop in Blandford Forum Chappers, he has a good stock at high prices but he does manage to sell them so someone is willing to pay his prices.

Having read your post i thought i'd check out prices on ebay.
I couldn't believe the how similar my bike is to the bike listed below (nothing to do with me by the way)

Same year, same colour, same mileage, same condition, even the registration number is the the same bar last letter.
Spooky!
Except mine would be a tad cheaper.
