Some old bloke in the next village to me has a grey fergie, his sole use of it seems to driving the length of his village in rush hour with three mental collies on the trailer. He does it everyday to feed his horses.

It's nice to see a tractor that fits on the road rather than the oversized penis extensions most farmers insist on.

Size wise a little TE20 (Grey Fergie) would do me, they are easy enough to work on and parts are available. They are just a bit too basic and a single stage clutch has its safety issues compared to modern stuff.  My father has a TE amongst his collection, but the bigger stuff does all the work. TE was a replacement for a horse, times have moved on.

A MF135 would be nice, but a lot of other folk think so, folk hang onto them or ask big money.

Had some visitors today.

Quite happy to have them around, and they aren't near the house.

I don't expect they'll be there long as it's a very exposed spot and there's a few days rain coming in.

Pretty sure theyre European Bees Tony. Just moving the Queen. Not really friendly, once had similar to your pic except covered whole wall of house. I banged the wall from inside, swarm covered 1/4 acre block when they took off, glad me and dog were inside.

European Wasps in Oz, I wonder how they got through Border Patrol.

Look like std Aussie honey bees. My dads an apiarist and he has kept bees for the last 15 years or so.

European wasps are brighter yellow and darker black.

If you get a hive box and can isolate the queen and bring her in there, they'll be very happy in their new home and reward you with up to 25kg of honey a season.

You will need a beekeeper suit and smoker to make them sleepy.

It will also mean your fruit trees will blossom and bear fruit.  If your neighbours have fruit trees they will also fruit very well. Bees will fly long kms to collect pollen and nectar.

Keystone species, we cant do without them.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

To bee or not to bee! - If they are honey bees git yerselva some hives and keep them around good for pollination!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Well you are lucky then they are not European wasps as they are bad mothers worse than sharks, snakes, spiders, crocodiles and drop bears.

As I said, very happy to have them around.

I'm still planning and setting up for a veggie garden and orchard but any in the future any will be made more than welcome. I'll see if they are still there later but they hadn't picked a great spot.

European Honey Bee, Eastern Honey Bee, all the same. I didnt mention wasps. Most common bee in Oz. Friendly but not when moving Queen as i tried to say. Just my 2 cents worth.

Tony Nitrous

Someone contacted me to rehome them, but when I went to check they'd moved on. They were under my field shelter so pretty exposed to the wind and rain so I guess it didn't suit them.   I wouldn't mind bee's one day. Either the European ones or the native ones, but I'm a way off that yet.

Don't remember seeing a European bee over here, maybe they disappeared with Brexit. See plenty of bumble bees.

Introduced my pup to the neighbours cattle...

I sometimes see Highland Cows roaming free.. They arent aggressive (Thankfully)

Hairy cooos!

When I was on one of the Uists a hairy coo pup was blocking the road and refused to move till I'd stroked its head like a pet dog. Mother cooo was stood watching with a 'bloody kids are embarrassing' look on her face haha
