Moto GP is back with us and for those without sky or BT subscriptions the highlights are on ITV4 at 8 o'clock on Monday.  So no spoilers from the posh people  :whistling:
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I have a MotoGP video pass and stream it live.
However, the 1:00am in the morning start  when I get up at 4:00am for work...well perhaps 20 odd years back, maybe.
😴🏍👍
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Was a pretty boring race i thought. Im sick of Ducati keeping in there with just straight line speed. All the bikes should have same power, would be much better racing.

VladTepes

Well I just watched round 1 - Qatar - and I actually enjoyed it.
The Ducati advantage was largely negated by the wind.
Poor old Alex Rins had a very bad last corner...

Quite difficult to pick a winner yet, so much talent in that Top 10

If Suzuki can drag some more HP out of the bike in the last half of the season, might be on a winner again!

Why is Marquez away? Apparently not back til race 3 ?

Managed to stay awake for Qatar Pt2. Good race, good results, I thought the Ducati's might struggle but they did well.

Still rather controlled motors, Moto 2 style. Just crap that great riding undone by superior power blasting them down the straight. IMO only.

Brilliant race by Jack Miller, i honestly thought  he woyld swap to a dry bike with 8 laps to go, but he made it work.  Zarco was absolutely flying and would have caught him if the race was 3 laps longerm
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Looks like Suzuki have found some speed this year. 🤞🏻Brilliant riding, too hard actually in Rins case, always trying 11/10 to get away on corners, hence he falls, or gets eaten on straights. Were fastest last night on straight. Hopefully good signs.

Awesome win by Rins at the Island yesterday.   Shame about Miller.

Phillip Island has a knack of leveling the playing field because of it's varied layout which suits both HP or good handling
Top 6 were milliseconds apart
Best race I've seen in a long time

Why does everyone call Miller an Aussie? I'm pretty sure he's a Kiwi 🤡

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

It was a fantastic race!

2nd closest Top 10 in motoGP era apparently.

Jack got shafted by Alex Marquez, which is a shame/

There's no denying what an absolutely EPIC ride that was from Rins. The to and fro between him and Marc Marquez especially was great to watch.

He really proved the Suzuki is capable and made it more obvious that Suzuki's decision to withdraw was a poor one.

Be great to see him next year and hope LCR Honda can put a decent bike under him.

Why poor?    They are a business that's struggling.  The small line up of bikes they have are based around 15 or 20 year old models with minor updates that can't match the competition.  Spending huge amounts on MotoGP, EWC etc is just more financial hurt when they have nothing that great in the showrooms.   I bought a new Suzuki because it suited me personally, irrelevant of racing, I don't see queues out the showroom doors to buy bikes that can't match the completion because of a few good GP laps on a Sunday.

Sadly, they haven't even been hit with the latest diesel scam fines yet so I fear the worse is yet to come.  I love the brand but it's sad to see the way it's going.

Great/ incredible Rins ride. 👍👍Agree about Suzuki product, not good enough. Only reason last few years ive watched GP is the blue bikes. Wont bother anymore. Do we have a resident billionaire in our site. Please stand up, buy the team. Make me happy. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

VladTepes

Tony, I completely agree with that too - financially it makes sense and was almost certainly necessary for precisely that reason.  I would rather see them invest in building some better bikes rather than racing, given the choice.

It's just... sad.

So many good memories of watching Suzukis on track. (including old footage of Barry Sheene, of course)
