Through my paracord tying I was chatting with a serving police officer online. He'd been drafted to London from up North. He'd been on duty for 10 days straight and will finally be returning home today, Tuesday.

I watched it nearly start to finish out of respect for our late Queen. No one can do pomp and ceremony like the Brits in my opinion. It was superbly planned and executed.
The bit that really got to me was when the items of state were removed from the coffin and placed on the altar, then King Charles placed that small flag on the coffin.

R.I.P. Ma'am, Long live the King.

Whether it's true or not I don't know, but this popped up on a FarceBook feed a couple of days ago. It's also in the UK national newspapers.
