Oil behind right side crankcase cover

Hi , Is it normal to have Oil behind the small Right side crank case cover . I was going to take the cover off and polish it up . I  undone the bolts and a little Oil dripped out so I done the bolts up again ,
Is that normal or is something sprung  a leak   cheers

There's normally a few drips in there, no more than that though.

For info just bandits do an upgrade stainless kit to replace the oil line .
