I needed a new rear windscreen wiper before I go on holidays this weekend, it judders over the screen and really annoys me. Ok, local store they are £12 , however on amazon £6.99 but you have to buy 2 ???? still a better deal and with free next day delivery. But 2 boxes arrived  with one on each box FFS  - what a waste of packaging  :bugga:

The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

You'll find Amazon does that. Their workers are underpaid and have terrible conditions - little more than slaves - so the result is that they do whatever is easiest for them to do their expected numbers. And Amazon don't care about packaging costs they just build it into the exorbitant prices they charge their sellers.

and a brand fucking huge superyacht.
It's cool that its  sailing yacht (and engines too of course, but jesus.

When completed, the Y721 (working name I hope), at 127metres will be the largest sailing yacht in the world.

The boat has been built by Dutch company Oceano and has a price tag of  at least half a billion US dollars.
Yep half a fuckin billion.

Crew required of 40, luxury accommodation for 18 guests.
Annual running costs at least $25 million.

So one one hand he's having a space race dick measuring contest with one group (is it a coincidence his rocket looks like a dick? ),  and also a super yacht dick measuring contest with another group.  :jack:

Meanwhile.. the AVERAGE pay for an Amazon 'fulfilment' worker is  $15.41 / hour(that includes Directors etc, so real wage is lower than that) and working conditions are terrible,

And I bet the giant tosser doesn't even know how to sail.  What a knob...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

To a point I`m guessing that Amazon packaging is supplied to them in specified sizes. Who decides what goes into what type of package is probably `brain-dead`, hence the reason why we all receive tiny items in unreasonably sized boxes.

However, i`m advised by someone who knows, (who is based in their Milton Keynes Hub), that, 1. Box size shouldn`t be an issue to customers because we should all be recycling anyway and the packaging is already a previously recycled product. 2. If boxes and packets were really small and sent out, there is an increased possibility of items being lost and mislaid by the delivery drivers.

Did you know that many years ago `Royal Mail` invested hundreds of thousands of pounds in an automated sorting system which would process thousands of items of mail each and every hour - then they would give said items to a postie on a pushbike!!! :rofl2:
