10yrs ago a good mate of mine restored a nice RD400. He didn`t ever own one `back in the day`, and upon completion he commented to me how slow it felt by modern day standards......so imagine how slooooow a 250 Superdream would feel today. OMG :rofl2:

If it was all about speed, we would all be riding Kawasaki's.

Surely it can't be any worse than the Yamaha XS250 that I owned for a short while back in the 80's :imrgreen:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Spotted this at the weekend thought of the restorers on here that had mentioned the CL.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I had a Honda CD250 back in the day - couldn't pull the skin off a pudding.

I once had 1967 CB125 Twin. Could rev its arse out all day, around 10k revs from memory. My other at time was Ariel 500 Red Hunter, reckon it struggled to make 3k revs.  :) Which one worth the most these days?

Dusty ST

Not guilty. I had an X7 back in the day   :cool:
I did rent a 400 Superdream on a Spanish holiday which, at the time was the biggest bike I'd ridden, I was expecting great things but turned out to be a bit flat compared to the X7.

Got some powder coating done on the black one. Now the restoration begins.

With the weight of all that paint on it, it`ll be even slower..... :rofl2:

When I get the second one done I'll give it to you.

We currently use CB250's for training bikes. Fabulous little beasts if used for their design purpose.
I have also recently purchased a GSX250S 1983 model, just needs cosmetic work done.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

@Batkwaka
I assume the GSX250S is a mini Katana. Was looking around for one a while back for my son when I still had the 1100, ended up doing up an Across for him it's still in my shed somewhere.
The superdream isn't the slowest bike I have, of the top of my head the V90 and KV75 wouldn't be able to keep up.
