Yeah here we had
- our iconic Coon cheese has to be renamed.
- our iconic 'Gollywog' biscuits were changed to 'Scalliwags;'
- 'Nigger' Brown stadium sign (in Toowoomba) had to be renamed even though it was found to be legally not discriminatory.
and of course we all remember
- The dog in 'Dambusters' movie had to be censored/renamed as it's name was nigger.
- The changes to Noddy to appease god knows who.

Then there's the trend to tear down statues of iconic historical figures - no matter what good they did - if there's any scent of negativity about them by today's standards.

Some time ago Ayer's Rock became commonly known as Uluru. Now there is a concerted thing to get things changed back to their aboriginal names. Fraser Island is now called K'gari.  Of course that won;t do well for marketing/tourism so the OFFICIAL name is now "Fraser Island (K'gari)" 

Australia post has introduced an option (at the moment) to include the tribal land address on letters and parcels.  And here's me I didn't even know they used to have a postal service.....
