Today i saw the most perfect example of original Z1 Kawa in Jaffa colour. Perfect EXCEPT, hes fitted extended swing arm with laced up wide 16 inch rim. 6 inch over forks. 4 into 2 exhaust in that turned down at end type harley all use. Why would you do that. Its a mile long, looks stupid, ruined a perfect bike. 👎

Some just don't have any style or taste Grog, not like the fine people here on this awesome forum...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Maybe he takes it on the drag strip? If it's been done for aesthetics only then it's a total waste of time as it'll destroy the handling and looks of what is normally a tidy looking bike.
Sadly "stretching" bikes and fitting a ridiculously wide rear wheel is a "Merican" fad/style and looks bloody awful in my eyes. Just another good bike ruined.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

I think the answer to `why would you do that` is, because these people can! At several Rallies over the years i`ve seen some wierd and sometimes wonderful variants of bikes i`ve loved in their original form. Having chatted to their owners it usually transpires that even though they`ve sacrificed an iconic machine, they have two or three standard and perfect examples tucked away at home. Oh, and they are usually `minted` so can afford the luxury of ruining the odd great bike!

As opposed to when they made the decision to do so, at which point they were 'munted' ?
