He bought two. I hope for his sake he didn`t eat them as they`re `worth` zillions at todays rates.....i can`t help wondering what kind of Pizza joint would give out two of their best, for no money at all? I must give it a try at my local Indian take-away this weekend..... :rofl2:

Quite an old thread now, but this week I started to have a dabble in cryptocurrency. I've only thrown £100 at it so far, so not likely to win or lose in a huge way.

Looking back at statistics..If I had bought just one Bitcoin last October it would have cost me approx £8671. If I'd stuck with it and held my nerve that one Bitcoin is now worth £40,585 which isn't a bad return on your money.
One of my brother in laws workmates cashed in 3 pensions(he's only 26) that he had running and invested £8k in Cryptocurrency a year ago. He's turned that into £850k over the last 12 months.
I would never go for it in a big way, but now that I'm "retired" it gives me something to have a crack at and just maybe make a few ££'s.

On the other hand a guy I work with had a dabble in it and lost money so not everyone is getting rich off it.  That's not how the world works, as we know.
For people to win others need to lose.

@VladTepes

Definitely caveat emptor! I won't be throwing huge amounts at it. I, like a lot of other people can't afford to lose large amounts of money if it all goes t*ts up. I'll just watch for now and see how it goes :onya:

I've got £80 or £100 in them (forgot what I paid in), tbh I don't follow it but last time I looked it's worth about the same. A group of us started looking, but the group fell apart & I've no real interest in it, so don't bother to try & play the market.
