Our weather getting towards Summer. Had a hot one Monday 38. This morning nice 16. First ride with Summer jacket and gloves. So much better without all the Winter crap we have to wear. Ride home this arvo, around 25, bike running perfect. Life is Good.

We're still getting frosts & there's talk of snow next week!  38 degrees, God, I wish!

Balmy 8c when I rode to work in the sun this morning, just right in an open face. So much nicer than sweating my nuts off when it's too hot.

Typical Autumn weather here in Wales..Cool, wet and windy :furious:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Going for a ride out on the Commando today with 4/5 other guys from the local Norton Owners Club. Forecast for Cambridgeshire sunny and 19C Happy Days🤗 isn't life a bitch🤣😂🤣

So YOU'VE got all the fuel then ;)

Big Phil

Up until last Friday there was virtually no fuel in our town or surrounding areas. Since then most garages have fuel and little if any queues at all.

Hooli

Forecast was 20c up here today, so I put another 250miles on the Sprint. Rude not too as I wasn't working today.

VladTepes

Dunno what you're on about - plenty of fuel here  :P

it's only a serious crisis here if it happens in or around London, no problem getting fuel around here.

For some reason which baffles me, I think East Kent has been hit the worst. No fuel at all in the Ashford area last week, and on Sunday I had to make a near 40mile round trip to Whitstable before managing to find a filling station with fuel, and even that was rationing it to £30 worth per vehicle.
To put that into perspective, I called at x11 filling stations en-route in both Ashford and Canterbury, none of which had a drop of available fuel.
The imbeciles in our government have clearly cocked-up yet again. After their recent performances, we shouldn`t be suprised I guess.
The burning question i`d love someone to answer though is quite simple :- on the basis that until nearly 3 weeks ago fuel was readily available everywhere in the UK, I would really like to know what happened to all our tanker drivers overnight? Have they been abducted or something?? Did they all test positive for Covid on the same day?? Did they all retire on the same day?? The whole thing beggars belief! :furious:

Hooli

It's just idiots panic buying after a false news story, nowt to do with government.

DP1400

Panic buying yes, but ultimate responsibility lays with the government if truck drivers shortages are the root cause of failed deliveries. The govt are yet again asleep at the wheel (no.pun intended!)  :whistling:

What's new?
I read a report yesterday about an MP who is complaining that he's finding it difficult to get by on his £82,000 + expenses pay, it's no wonder they have no idea of how normal people live and they don't really care.
