Oil Leak Assistance

Evening Gentlemen - I require a little assistance if you could be so kind

Last night I discovered another oil leak - mainly LHS as you sit on the bike - I cleaned the entire engine with industrial wipes and using my paint gun to spray panel wipe at high pressure - but was getting dark so didn't get to see how clean it was - now I did have a leak at the rocker cover before but I sorted this last week so some of the oil was from this but the rocker cover is still dry today

So today I still have an oil leak I think I've traced it to the LHS genny cover as it is wet again and after the 10 mile trip home it dropped about 2 or 3 drips on drive but I think that it may be worse than I think - so before I strip it down some of your wisdom on what you think - now on the LHS at the back of the sator case is what looks like a small bracket (see photo 1) it is wet with oil - Im sure that this is the clip that holds the engine/frame bracket

There is also oil at the front of the engine on LHS located on the 1st 3 fins on the engine (picture 2) I initially thought last night it was the front return pipes (the ones you can't change) but after cleaning yesterday they are still dry so unsure where this is coming from – the only other thing in there that has a hole in it is the head bolt – could it be coming from there?

The only modification I have done to the engine is removal of the pairs system – would this increase crank case pressure that is causing the leaks

the pairs system in part of the exhaust system no oil in any of it .

you can change the return pipes think some did a write up but it's a engine out big enough job and the pipes are getting harder to source as mostly get damaged during removal .
as dave says check the engine casing bolts as 2 have oil seals on them

Cheers Seth - but would removing the pairs cause any increase in cranckcase pressure

the pairs shouldn't change crankcase pressure in anyway ive had my pairs removed for years on my tuned motor with no worries

You only need the 2 washers for the 2 bolts Del, you can just remove those bolts to "add" them without having to buy a complete new gasket

Another big digger from me 

My friend have the same issue as Del have - oil leak on front of the engine - and also this isn't a big return pipe...

@KoZi yeah mate took the rocker cover off and cleaned the gasket and the gasket seating surfaces and refitted with a small amount of instant gasket to hold in place - been good since them

They can be tricky those cam cover gaskets, had mine off recently & it sealed perfectly the first time second time I did it I left the bike idle for 5-10mins came back to find a puddle of oil below the bike so hit the kill switch PDQ! removed the cover again and the gasket appeared to be in place other than possibly a small section at the front of the engine in the middle, but that could have been disturbed when lifting the cover off, reseated it and bolted down to find all was OK, but it has only had a 10 minute run to test so fingers crossed

I think the trick is to bolt the cover down with the two long allen screws first & then fasten the eight smaller cam cover bolts starting with the inner four, then the outer four and a final nip up of them all but not to much as the threads are made of cheese, as I found out the first time

Interesting... the upper gasket is brand new OEM Suzuki, surface also was cleaned carefully... 
We have to look at it again

Check the oil cooler pipes too. A slight leak from the crimped joins where they run horizontally under the cooler would blow back to the front of the engine in that sort of area.
