Hey guys, just wanted to pop in and say hello.

My name's Dean and I have a K2 which used to belong to my father but he changed to a Ducati multistrada and I now have the joy of turning the gsx into my own...

So about 6 years ago he dropped the bike at low speeds, all cosmetic damage but a lot of it... We did our best to tidy it up so he could use it again but it has been sitting about for a good while now in need of a restoration.

I also ride an 06 Kawasaki ninja in a very controversial colour scheme 🤣 but it was a job done when I replaced the plastics on it last year and I wasn't for paying someone £500 to paint it and then me mayb drop it or something so it has got me a bit of practice painting plastics 👍

Anyway, I'll start a build thread when I gather a few parts for the gsx and hopefully pick all your brains on what can, can't and shouldn't be done to it 🤣

Welcome to the forum Dean.  :onya: I'm originally from Belfast but haven't been there since 1971 (and that was only a weeks visit), has it changed much?
