Mliv, will watch with interest. Im thinking i should do similar before mine leaks. Mate owns radiator shop, can get coolers any size.

Grog, same here, that would be ideal to have new one made to same size as oem.  I'd buy one if you go ahead with that.

After it happened to me I bought a spare - so far my No.1 bike is still in good order.

Mine is standard sized just with triangular end tanks. A normal cooler cover fits fine, except for a slight trim at the top - they left the bracket up to the bolts complete rather than trimming the middle out as per Suzuki.

Little update.
Cooler, lines and fan mounted. I used an10 150° fittings on top side and for lower side I cut off old hoses and went to local hydraulic shop to make crimp joints. They said they are out of crimp collars that I need
I had to improvise and I put 3 crimp clamps on each hose, it holds so far, no leaks after 25 mins on idle, happy with that
Also noticed small problem with forks touching fittings as they are on top of cooler. I'll have to lower it 2 cm to make room for forks. After all, happy with new mod/fix!  I just need to put all bolts that are holding cooler to homemade brackets
