I found rear wheel bearings on sale in local shop, quality japan product. Two pcs for 6€, 60/28 NR bearings, fits our bikes when metal ring is removed
Good find and I would expect good quality being Japanese. Still an open cage bearing though, would not last very long on the road in your winters
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

@GSXKING , no mate , no cracks in them at all  they are quite hard though which is most probably why there is so much vibration coming through the bars. Anyway my new tyres will arrive soon so all will be good :onya:.

If they last as long as rear tyre lasts, they would be great!

If you're killing bearings that quick there must be an issue. My original wheel bearings did 136k miles, the rears were just starting to have play in by then.

My oem bearings are still on my bike (61tkm). I am not killing them like that, everything is fine with my bike, I just answered to statement that they won't last long because they are open cage type of bearings.

Oops....

Remember that Hornet I was fostering for a while & is still here despite being sold between mates?

Well the mate who bought it doesn't need it now as he was going to use it for work but they've sorted him out. So I seem to have agreed to buy it off him, looks like I've got a winter bike

I've just ordered some indicators for it, as the crap ones on there were near invisible. I'll pop to the local good bike shop & get a LED flasher for it tomorrow, I don't get the indicators there as they are much more expensive. The only other things it needs are the carbs balancing & the Scottoiler I took off it refitting, I've used half the Scottoiler to fit one on the Strumpet though so I'll need to order a few bits.

That's my multibike policy full then as I'm only allowed four bikes on it.

Have a pic from when I was caught on it in May because it needed a run.

VladTepes

Score.

I bought a DIY garden shed.
Will allow me to get a heap of the space occupying shit out of the garage (lawnmowers , garden tools, pressure washer etc).

The only affordable one I could find to fit the space I have without wastage.
easy shed

No doubt it will be a joy to build it

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

I get a 403 error when I try to open the easy shed link.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Bet it will be good to get some of management's excess stuff out of the garage too..... shoe and handbag collection, sewing machine and table etc.
Ooh now it says you've made a serious error Vlad
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Looks good Vlad. Now a concrete slab needed, some sort of water run off plan, maybe a gutter? When you bolt to concrete youll need the rubber flashing, silicone sealing to keep it dry. Shed that lets water in is no good in my eyes.

Fully agreed. Shed was the highest priority once we settled the house. We're on a corner block, so with the shed came new driveway, crossover and 8mx 4m shed at 2.7m high to gutter line.  Missus was so pleased, she even got on the jackhammer to smash out the old concrete patio that it replaced and then continued to surprise me by arranging the sparky to get power to my shed. Now my 14 has pride of place, along with all my tools and gardening stuff.

I was lucky with my shed. When we bought land to build, old shed frame and concrete floor were there. Was a butchers shop back 50s. Was a mess, over grown but frame was good and floor good. Cleaned, western red cedar cladding. new rolla doors, wired up with lights. power points, even its own fuse box. Reckon it only cost 10G to fix. Think its 75 Sq Mtrs. Roof leaked, another 3G. Biggest mistake, shouldve knocked back end out, ramp and built a huge shed. Plenty of space behind, maybe still will one day. Running out of years for my plans.

Already have a  concrete area ready for it.
The concrete is exposed aggregate so will definitely need to pay attention to sealing.
Water run off - not sure but should be OK as long as sealant done right and water channels around the shed rather than through it.

Can you tell me more about rubber flashing?
I was planning on using silicon between the frame and concrete to fill all the gaps (given exposed agg), bnut the more I can do to assist with H20 resistance the better.

She doesn't have a large amount of handbags or shoes or anything.

None of the stuff in the garage is the managements stuff, its all my crap.
Motorbike stuff, Land Rover stuff, car cleaning stuff, camping stuff, gun stuff, tools, etc.
Oh and the GSX1400 lives there of course :)
