Graham, thats a touch low actually. Mine always 13.9/14v. 13.5 in car industry is considered minimum. See how you go. You can buy a cheap LED voltmeter for bars. I did and also has USB charge socket. Works well.

Hi m8 I stuck a new battery in and it seems to be fine now, I'm still unsure what the whine was, but with my tinnitus it's always very difficult to hear high pitched noises
