C42 code help

Got a C42 code up on my project bike,  K5 model,  have cleaned all connections,  checked electrical plugs and relay etc,  pump only primes for a second,  can get it to prime by messing switching the kill switch on and off,  have read this could be ab antenna problem is there anyway of eliminating this before purchasing a new or replacement one?

If it is an antenna problem Steve, that was the subject of a recall by Suzuki for the K5's, so you can check with Suzuki GB if it has been done or not. If not, then they should replace for free

Due to what you have said ref the kill switch, I would clean the contacts and try again

Ne a bit difficult getting them to replace it on this lol

Did a full check on kill switch continuity etc and all good 😊👍 so can only assume antenna or something else within the C42 circuit?

The story ended with that Suzuki had that recall campaing about antiteft collar, i towed my bike in our local Suzuki dealer and they replaced the collar and now it works like a charm!
