Hello forum members.
Joined here over a year ago and has been lurkin around.
Thought I had done a presentation earlier, but not. So here it is.
I live in the south of sweden and like bikes. Discovered for a couple of
years ago what a great bike the GSX1400 is. I have had my 14 since then
and it´s a 2003 model with 13000 km on the clock. See yah.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Gidday Yami & a belated welcome to the forum.    :onya:

With a handle like that, do you have an XJR as well?   :confused1:  :whistling:

I would use the pressure regulator that matches the the year of your bike.
So if earlier model the k3 if later k5 one .
Also search the fuel regulator wire mod as the plastic clip can break allowing it no not maintain pressure properly .
How many miles has your bike done ?

I have had one about 10 years ago. :)
If I don´t find out the issue with the 14 soon, I will get one XJR again because
I need to ride a bike this summer.

My Haynes doesn´t mention any difference between the pressure regulators, it´s 02-08 yearmodels in it.
It only says 48 psi (3,0 bar). I have borrowed a 2005 fuelpump/regulator to my 2003 which I have the issue on.

Yes, I have seen the wire mod but when I dissasembled the fuelpump plastic looked fine and the regulator
is tough to get out. But I will do the mod later on.

I have 2 GSX1400 but non of them is a runner for the moment for very obvious reasons. I have had a K5 yearmodel for some years
and that one has soon 110000 km on the clock but was working fine. The K3 which has the issue has only
13000 km on the clock.

I will update my issue thread with this info as well as the K5 is very much involved in solving the problem.

@Yami
You do know you can download a full Suzuki workshop manual here for free .
Your bike has a problem and you need to go through it in a systematic way and you'll get it sorted .
Plenty of help here you just need to call down and take your time.
It's frustrating I know but just keep cool and go at it bit by bit rather than at everything at once and you'll get it sorted out .
