Today the little rubber bumper/ cushion broke in half on centrestand. Its the thing that touches on bracket when stand is up. Anyone replaced this with something other than genuine part, doesnt seem to be in stock Australia. 09321-42F10-000. Ive glued it back on for now. Could just put a bolt in but then metal to metal. Any thoughts Gentlemen.

Thought that Col, heat not an issue you reckon. Noticed today no bracket on Tri Oval for centre stand. Can buy off Yoshi, not cheap. Will make one, have b4 for another can. Gave it to someone on Org.

Wouldn't think heat to be an issue. Must have a look and see if mine has a bracket.

Speaking of center stands , did the bikes come with some sort of handle to help getting on to said centrestand, mine had a Ventura rack on it when I got it and was wondering if something had been removed to fit it

There is no handle other then the rails that run along the frame near the rear shocks.  There is nothing to remove (without an angle grinder).
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Thanks, I figured as much looking at it, but thought I might be missing something

Question time, was thinking of just fitting second clamp to link pipe, attach a piece of flat plate to clamp, adjust for centrestand bumper to rest against it. Good idea? Anyone done similar?

I suspect it might rattle?

I'd be thinking one of those cotton reel exhaust mounts off cars, I used to see them a lot on BMC stuff. You must have one that's failed by the bonding splitting somewhere? They all fail so the metal disk peels off one side & you'd need to do that to use it on the centre stand anyway....

These say Mini, but I noticed Volvo etc listed too for similar ones.

Hooli, the bumper, whatever i find, will be on stand. Attaching metal plate to link pipe, maybe 5mm stainless, using 2nd clamp as anchor. Should work? Tension is off springs, just resting there. Should be strong enough is my question? Proper Yoshi plate that fits over centrestand bolts is $100, seems excessive.
