What do you pay where you are?

Annual rego notice just received $505.70 (~GBP286)

Here in Queensland our rego comprises of (type and breakdown for me)
1. Compulsory Third party (personal - covers injury caused to others), $316
2. Registration Fee (Outright state government theft), $126.35
3. Traffic Improvement Fee (State government theft, slightly disguised) $63.35

Road tax (isn't officially road tax but everyone calls it that) here is about £86 a year for a 14. For that you get a collection of potholes joined by gravel that they claim are roads.

Mine same as Vlad. With insurance $750 a year. I put $15 a week into account for it. Job done. Insurance hasnt changed much last few years. My work site moved, bad suburb to good. I told them thats where its parked weekdays, went up $1.85. Figure that out.

I was talking about this one before a while back.

But for some reason out here in the country areas, the greenslip is over a hundred more than if I lived in Sydney or any other city.  Insurers think that we hit kangaroos or something out here all the time.  I actually phoned a few of them up and that was the reason I was given.  sounded like crap to me.

I would have thought that greenslips would be more expensive if living in the city with the population and traffic conditions.

New Zealand motorcycle registration for 600cc and over is $519.87 for 12 months. Per motorcycle.

Should you have a Synthetic Greenhouse Gas in your air conditioning you will pay a Greenhouse Gas levy of an additional $24.22 per year. (Lucky we don't)

Attached is an old PDF trying to explain how and why the ACC component costs so much.
Remember a rugby player pays no ACC, but then they never get hurt
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I think the Rego is $70.92 and insurance $298 annually here in WA.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Anastasia Pallettrcuk and her Labor grubernment (Queensland) have been gouging drivers/riders for years and our roads are still SHIT. I reckon the money is unwisely spent on employing more public servants, not even ones that can fix a road.  :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated:

Fix a road .......... we can't get enough road cone technicians to make that happen.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Central Coast NSW is cheaper than Sydney and it's just north of it closer to Newcastle. You need a sea change.

And don't forget your green slip costs more if you have lost points on your licence.
