I've used those - very good, make a great waterproof connection, but do require some heating (and experience suggests leaving to cool for a couple of mins once heated up)

Yes gsxbarmy I agree they do need a bit more heat than the video shows and the cooling part your spot on  but a handy peace of kit and tidy  helps people like me that are shit at soldering lol

Well bought SA. Will last forever. I have a little tin of Never Seez, zinc stuff, Must be 40 yrs old, i use it on everything i dont want to loctite. still 2/3 full. I put some on pool skimmer bolts, 10 yrs later, always covered by water, they just unscrewed like it was yesterday.

Good to know. I've never had anti-seize in my toolbox. According to those in the know, silver is best for the really hot stuff, copper for everything else.

Not ordered one Tally as I mentioned it to my mate and he already had one so will use his🤗

As my forks are in a right old state I went and bought some wet and dry varying from 600 grit to 2500 grit , autosol and buffing cloths so guess what I'm doing after servicing my brakes. (Oh joy!!).

Got my self a engine case from flea bay  cost me £85 including post it's already polished so it's good to go and now I have a spare to keep just in case  :onya:
