Thanks for the responses to my query guys. What a bonkers world we live in! I naturally assumed that standard face masks as worn on public transport would have sufficed. Presumably this is the position anyone could find themselves in regardless of what they`re riding/driving, assuming they have a legitimate reason for being out and about.....

.....this`ll explain why i`ve noticed so many people wandering around on the motorway lately, they must be waiting for a bus :)!

It's a very strange world indeed .
I saw a advert for a breakdown company the other day that says they take your car and arrange a taxi for you .
I think it's to reduce the number if staff the breakdown companies have taking time off to self isolate ECT.
Not sure why it's then ok to use a taxi as unless screened off the taxi driver has the same risk.
On busses I saw a double decker the other day with a message in the front saying " this bus is full" only 6 people on it.
Strange times indeed.

Most of the busses I see have "not is service" on the front, I've tried google and Bing, still cant find where it is.  :confused1:

Speaking as an ex bus driver, it's the best destination you can be assigned.

Caution!!!!!! A friend in the insurance industry has advised me to check with my provider as to whether I am insured against an accident or any other claims if I have an accident on a non-essential journey as some companies may be looking at this as a get out clause. As my car insurance is due at the end of the month and the 14's in January I will be asking them directly about this. As a precautionary note CHECK with your provider.
If in doubt
Save your NCB's
Don't GO OUT.  :coffeescreen: :onya: :salute:

Insurers do not have magic powers to invalidate insurance on a whim

Insurance companies do love a look hole to get out of paying out or at least minimising any pay outs .

@numbskull  you are right. I read the white dalton link and spoke to my insurance provider as well and they agree my insurance is valid if I ride during lockdown. It seems I'm the victim of a wind-up by my so called friend,so all is good now  :boogie:
