Hi All, Not sure if this has been posted before but gotta say this stuff is amazing. I have tried so many other products to clean the headers and other chrome parts from a long list of products that I had hanging about in my garage. NOTHING has got close to Autosol which has been recommended to me so many times. Finally saw it on Amazon on sale so thought give it a go. Wow! It is awesome stuff and my headers look like new on a 2001 K2 amazing stuff😍

Hooli

I like the smell.

With fine wire wool it's perfect for polishing bits on my Bonnie too.

Irish in Oz

Been using it since 1976 my first road bike a Puch M50 Grand Prix.
Readily available at Halfords in UK.

Autosol does a good job, but there is better on the market - try products from Mothers or Meguairs, or something like Belgom Alu, all much less abrasive and give a better overall finish than Autosol IMO, especially if applied correctly according to instructions (i.e. little and often). Best stuff by far is GTechniq M1, and although not cheap, by god its damn good, especially on chrome.

(just fyi Big Phil, I've been polishing stuff for years.......this was my 14 before I sold her 4 years ago (owned from new))
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

@gsxbarmy
We all know you love polishing, but you mention that autosol may be more abrasive than the other products you mention, but in all honesty did that bike ever get to the stage that it needed the extra abrasion.

I saw a photo of it dirty......once !!  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Daytona

I can't believe it's 4 years ago that you sold the 14 ..I recall it didn't look like that after the wild Atlantic way,.

seth

@Daytona 4 years and now he can't settle as he is on his 2nd replacement already 🤔

I know the gsx had to go and why @gsxbarmy and hoping your really enjoying the BMW.
And your retirement .

P.s. I think the barmy was and is pretty much the polishing master .

Barmy the master. I like Autosol, had great results over many years. Also Purple is good for a quick touch up to already polished parts.

Best Autosol on exhaust is Pickling Agent. Bigger package, less prize and works perfect!
