As I have now not paid for the courier service 7 months in a row  @ $1,000+ per month and have used the bike  almost exclusively instead, and my 14 cost me 7 grand, I now have a free 14 with less than 30,000 kms on it.I`m not counting petrol and the new Tyres I have just bought, but another month will cover those as well

All my work used to get picked up and delivered to me daily, but since all this shit went down and with it the amount of work I`ve been riding down to the Depot every day instead of them coming up here, so give or take 100 km per day

VladTepes

You usually get work home-delivered?

Yea, I` ve got my workshop set up here at home making up hi end spectacles for Optoms all around OZ.  There is a national optical courier service  that picks up and delivers to all the shops and delivers to all the Labs  and  then does the reverse back to the Optoms via a distribution Depot in all states. It works well, but the final bit is expensive for me as I`m not in the metro area hence putting the 14 into service to pick up and deliver to the depot for the last 7 months. Not liking the downturn in work, but am enjoying getting back on the bike every day that it isn`t pissing down. have clocked up 7,500 Covid Kms thus far

Ah OK. I was wondering what sort of job was involved.

When you say High end, I presume that doesn't mean optical superstore
(I just got some new ones from there and would be funny if you might have made them)

I wear glasses for reading and close up work. Sweaty who is on this forum is in that line of work told me to get the number of the leg and he would get me some. With my glasses off I can't read the number and when I put them on I still can't as it is near my ear, so I stlll have the same wonky frames.

It would be easier for me to swap mine with his, he probably wouldn't see what I did.
