That sure was one hell of a bang. Apparently the Ammonium Nitrate had been stored there since 2014. Either way, never seen anything like that, absolutely terrible

The shock wave is quite visible and the sound was heard 230 km's away in Cypress it's very sad and so stupid.

Terrible devastation and loss of life and property. Someone is surely going to pay the price for allowing so much Ammonium Nitrate to be stored in one place so close to a densely populated area.

I see the entire government has resigned over this.
Catch 22 really they couldn't really ignore the very vocal protests about it.
On the other hand a country like Lebanon suddenly without any government stability is probably not a good thing either...

18 Billion US Dollars in damage  How will they pay for that. Their inflation is running around 2000%. The only silo's for the entire country blown up and all the grain poisoned by the gas given off by Ammonium Nitrate exploding, so food shortages very soon.
