I see the scooter photo watermark implies its hosted here: http://www.lumyer.com/
That fact its been downloaded from there and then uploaded her (rather than the non watermarked copy here) suggests that Eric may not be the photographer.

well @Eric GSX1400K3 how's my detective work?

Right on Detective Vlad.

I take no credit for the photo, but a vespa may help the knees and hips of our more senior members though.

I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Yeah but the MT-01 is a v-twin.
And as a GSX1400 owner - torque is essential.

So a compromise is necessary....

I know I am very late to reply to this and so its probably not relevant any more..

I have had 3 MT01's (Yes 3)
The last one was the very latest version made in the last year of manufacture..
They are a totally different ride style to the GSX..
I would say the knee bend is no more friendly than the GSX.. In fact I remember correctly its worse!
Its has a mass of torque (150Nm) BUT
The power / smoothness is produced in quite a narrow band..
So unless you like large vibrations and driveline torture you end up changing gear far more than you may imagine!
Its a bike that will draw LOADS of attention..
I only have the space / finances for 1 bike and so that means that for me its not that practical..
If you have a garage and own multiple bikes then its a great bike to put into your stable..

My last MT-01 destroyed its starter motor!! It stripped the magnets and then jammed its own starter motor!
Push starting a Giant V Twin is NOT an option..
They are horrendously expensive to buy.. In the end I got advise of the MT-01 forum to buy a Yamaha Road Star starter motor (Same engine) as they were one third the price.

I have attached photos of the three I owned.
The Grey one was the very latest..

Nice looking bikes Simon.

When I rode one of these MT01's I was amazed at the weight transfer under braking, it pushed the front end in a way I'd never experienced and was a little unsettling when it wouldn't steer but "bulldoze" the corners with the front tyre. I'm sure you'd adapt to it as an owner and riding on a regular basis.  :hat:

My GSX tracks really well from initial turn in and through the turns by comparison even two up.  :onya:

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Bikerface, another bike to consider is a gen 2 superduke R 1290, shit loads of power, grunt a plenty and it's quite roomy, goes, stops and handles like a sports bike and has plenty of attitude.  The gen 3 is a bit cramped.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Those MT 01 give B King a run for ugly. IMO.
