Hi fellows

The Gestapo (police) here in Denmark have started a regular which hunt for motorcycles with aftermarket exhaust systems.
They give fines around £180 if the officer considers it too loud (no measurement required) and call the bikes in for extra MOT.

Having a yoshimura system on my 2006 it might be a good idea to have some sort of documentation for it....

The system is bought directly in Japan, so no help from local dealers (fully understandably).

I'm searching for a copy of a homologation to any yoshimura exhaust preferably a euro 3 system.
It could be the tri-oval (e1*0486) but all others have my interest.

I'm hanging on a strw here, but I hope someone can help  :imrgreen:

Gidday Wilson, the proper etiquette upon registering on the forum is to introduce yourself here, https://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?board=20.0  then ask questions on the open forum afterwards.

I can't really help with your request, however if you click on the below link & scroll down to the K6, you'll see it had a Yoshi pipe as standard, this may assist you somewhat.

The Yoshimura distributor in Denmark should be able to help you - see attached screenshot taken from:

https://www.yoshimura-jp.com/en/contact/distributor.php

If they can't help email Yoshimura Japan.

Hi KiwiCol
Well this really isn't my first post even though I can see it looks like it is.
I registered this forum years back when I bought the bike, but didn't acces my user for a while due to a lost password and problems login in to my profile. Couldn't reset my password nor get any respons when a wrote to an admin, so simply didn't use my account for a couple of years.
Eventually did I get in contact to an admin through a FB forum and got my account reset.
Unfortunately did this apparently result in my previous posts got deleted somehow!

I 'll see if I can make a profile update in the nearest future....

Yeah I do know the danish distributor, but due to what I wrote, I was hoping someone in here had a copy.
In my opinion that sort of things are what fora are made for, and not just to show how good you are to clean your bike and show the latest item you bolted on to it.
