This morning in town a ute nearly sideswiped me out of my lane (onto the footpath, would have been bad).

Then he had the nerve to abuse me when we were stopped at the lights telling me "I had my indicator on, you're supposed to let me through."

When I responded that he still had to give way to traffic already in that lane he responded with an angry "I had my indicator on which gives me right of way, you have to let me in. Look it up". 

Then he took his mobile phone out at took photos of me (another offence using phone while driving).

Just another day on the roads. I really should sort out a helmet cam.

Mongrels everywhere Mike.  As far as I know (here anyway) having your indicator on does NOT give you 'right of way'.  All it means is you intend / would like to move in that direction, but if the way is not clear, you have to wait till it is, or go on to the next turn.   

Bet he wouldn't have done that same trick with a fully loaded truck n trailer beside him.    Wanker!
