Big Phil

Wow! That looks so basic now. Reminds me of my first Bell full face helmet back in the 70's which is showing my age now! My old man never wanted me to ride bikes but all my mates had one so he finally relented. Made me get a solid white full face Bell as he said it would help me to be seen. I remember I was going to paint some stripes on it but read (or was told) paint would damage it so I used electrical insulation tape of various colours to smarten it up instead 🤣😂🤣😂🤣

The old Bell One very strong and very heavy. I think you could have painted it as they where fibreglass, but not recommended, polycarbonate may be a different story.

KiwiCol

We had a brand here, prob mid 70's, Max Cheshire.  Everyone (in my circle) wanted one of those.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

In the 70s Grant was our big go to. Had the best colour schemes. $30 for a full face, $3 new visor. Way back then, one model had removable chin bar. 4 screws out for an open face.

Tally

My first helmet was a bell if I recall the visor locked down with metal poppers back in 79 when I had my fizzy, 16 yrs old and let loose on the road with 'L' plates and no clue

My favourite helmet of the early eighties was my AGV AGO, nice neat fit and light. They are still about today think it's the X3000.

I bought a new battery, Exide YTX 14-BS, to replace my "old" Motobatt MBYZ 16 H, which lasted only two years and two months ???
Motobatt started to die after only six months, but I didn't believe it because it was new.
Expensive junk, never again

I found the same thing and was equally confused as my motobatt did , and still does hold a charge, but not enough to always start the bike

Thats the plan Col. Got to put a grey water tank in it and get it certified as self contained. Might even look at a diesel heater also.
