Our bike guard yesterday in her first birthday, still got a little bit of growing to do but she's doing well.

See, we do get the sun in the UK, sometimes.

Bloody cars are doing my nut in - Wifes Vectra blew a front brake pipe - so had to replace that and then power wash the drive way to get all the old fluid off it

then the next day my car went BOING!!!!! and drivers side dropped - spring snapped

Springs are not meant to snap.  It's gotta be a faulty component, warranty . . .

Agreed, theyre not supposed to snap.  By the look of the rust on the end of the failed part, its been cracked for a long time, possivly even since it was made. I also  noticed its failed close to where the coils are tighter to fit into the strut, seems like a manufacturing defect to me, coiled too tight when the steel was already too cold.

Many years ago I thought I'd have a go at stock car racing so I bought this gem and it's trailer for $40. It's first outing was a test run up the back lane where I broke a back axle. Do I fix it or sell it as is for $60? I took the $20 profit.

Anything would have been 1 better than that thing Col. It had a very rattly Rugby side valve 4 that I finally killed. It threw a rod through the block taking out 4 valves but also a plug lead that kept coming off one of the two cylinders that were working. It went like that for about 5 mile & got us back to the mooring. Next day the motor became a mooring.
