A mishap has resulted in me needing to replace the complete speedo/ tacho gauge housing assembly on my K7 pride and joy.

The replacement part will be a eBay non-genuine one but I am a bit hesitant about the changeover process.

Can anyone provide a simple step-by-step guide to swapping it all over?

Thanks

I should clarify that only the housing is damaged. I need help to:

1/ install old gauges into new housing.

2/ remove and refit gauge housing assembly to bike.

Thanks again

I haven't time to check at the moment - should be in the workshop manual?
That's available via the DOWNLOADS tab in the top menu here on the forum.  :onya:

If it's only the outer case you're replacing then I'm sure there's only two screws to undo and I think the after market one is a straight swap.

This is the one I bought. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Gauges-Case-Speedometer-Tachometer-Shell-Cover-for-Suzuki-GSX-1400-2004-2008-05/263770864267
If you look like your passport photo then you're too sick to travel.
