I had a go at retrimming my seat. I added a hump at the rear cause my wife complains about slipping forward, I added some height at the front for myself and trimmed the sides down to look a bit different.
I used a 4-way stretch vinyl which is fantastic stuff, really easy to work with and achieve a reasonable result.

Tell me more, i want/need some extra height on mine.  Been putting it off as the original seat vinyl is still 100% O.K. do you reckon i can reuse the original trim but change the profile slightly?
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

I changed the profile slightly, 10 to 20 mm from some places, and reused the original seat vinyl. Works great.

What sort of foam did you use?

I used foam from old car seat, pretty close to Suzukis original seat foam.

I used an offcut of foam from Clark rubber for the hump. To add height to my area I used sticky-back construction foam (which I already had), but I used it underneath the factory foam.
To shape it I got a set of craftright sanding discs from bunnings and a cordless drill, and also a cheese grater.

Insane , great job. Had trimmer, im not as clever as you, pulled cover off 3 months back. Did patch up job on mine, custom seat but has lasted 12 yrs. Told it needs foam replacing. $300 quoted for rebuild. Im happy to pay but your job great.
