Making leather jackets is a whole different game than making boots. Doesn't mean that one who makes good jackets also makes good boots.

TBH most things I've heard about RST have been good, it's just those particular boots that appear to fall apart.

Best boots I have ever bought are Daytona's. Not cheap, but 100% waterproof and very comfortable.

I hope their jackets are better than their boots. My last RST boots lasted 3 months & completely fell apart, it was the material not the stitching too.

Jacket & jeans - top quality textile for me, removable quilted liner, can`t go wrong. Too many poor leathers out there today, prone to split at the seams and rip open - just when you felt you were safe.....!
Boots - Sidi. I have the Sidi vertebra type. A1 quality and comfort, had them years .
