@grog

Was thinking about you when I bought these today.

grog

Thanks for caring Irish.  :happy1:  Never used one but was thinking about buying. I still have fair bit of steel to cut up. Safe, even for me you think? Im usually good with tools but just the slightest stupidity makes anything dangerous. I proved that.

KiwiCol

Those sabre saws (with the right blade) are bloody good at cutting steel pipes n stuff.  The right blade for the application & they're great at heaps of stuff, even pruning branches.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Have a Hilti sabre saw, its great..... cut up cars no problem,  just a bit slow going through the high strength steel sections.

I`ve got one of these Grog, I don`t use it much, but it works well

I do stand at an acute angle when using, just in case

I have a GMC drop saw myself, great tool but I'm sure the company went bust a couple of years back.

Think you are right, I've had mine at least 10 years and haven't seen GMC stuff for a while

I bought a rather large lens for my Nikon...
Sigma 150-600. Should be perfect for nature and moon photos. It weighs just under 2Kg!! Got to learn how to get the best from it now :imrgreen:

I had (have since sold) a Sigma 150-600, great lens, but oh so heavy for shooting with - in the end I had to buy a monopod to fit to the lens to support it, it was just too heavy to pan with
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:

It is a VERY heavy lens!..I'll see how I get on with it. I do think a monopod will be on my to buy list though.
