So mostly for the sake of discussion, I saw this video of a Japanese gsx1400 rocking Keihin FCR41 carburetor.

Obviously the bike has other mods including the Yoshi exhaust and I am guessing cams.

But my question here is what would need to be done in order to pull this off?  Is it as simple as pulling off the FI Throttle bodies, slapping on the carbs and then tuning on a dyno?  Or is there more involved?
Also would this potentially net you more power then simply throwing on the Yoshi Exhaust, Cams and PCv?

OMFG WTF sounds pretty crap on startup  NOS stickers so must be hidden some where. Too much time wasted there IMO.  :jack: :stir: :stir: :stir:

Im not gonna disagree on the styling, but for a Japanese custom bike this is pretty tame.  I doubt that there is any NOS on the bike whatsoever.

As for the start up i would put it down to cams and fueling.  Those carbs are 41mm in diameter, the stock throttle bodies are only 34mm.  I have seen people do it with V8s coverting from FI to carbs.
Would this get you more fuel and air in the chamber? Resulting in more power, or is there alot more going on here?  I am asking out of curiosity, not becuase i intend to go this route.  Is there legitimate gain to be had here (regardless of cost) or is this simply an exercise of 'because i can'..?

I cant get answers from the source, so i figured id bring it up here.
